Imagine the larynx: a structure ordered according to biological norms. Wet. A perfect and refined object. It moves rhythmically, producing the expected sounds. Suddenly, something catches. The sounds become distorted. The gaze of astonished onlookers turns towards it. To elevate and possess. We want to listen to it. We want to exploit it. We want to touch it.
